Why Family Medicine:

I believe that preventative healthcare can be extremely powerful in the lifetime health of an individual. As a family physician, I do not only aim to treat disease with grace and dignity, but also to prevent illness by routine screening, health advice, and early intervention.  I feel it is important to empower the individual with the tools and knowledge of how to live a healthy balanced life both mind and body.  As a family physician I also have the unique opportunity to provide a full continuum of care: from conception to delivery, on-going pediatric care, and into adulthood through the end of life.  This lifelong continuity conveys an invaluable knowledge of the essence of a person and is a bond that I feel very honored to share with my patients and their families.
